GOALTASTIC columnist Peter Shilton is leading the hunt to find a five-a-side team to take on Germany in a bid for World Cup revenge.
Joachim Loew’s side knocked England out in Bloemfontein in June with a convincing 4-1 win, but now Holiday Inn wants to stage England vs Germany: The Rematch.
Shilton, currently competing on BBC show Strictly Come Dancing, said: “This is our big chance to show Germany what we’re made of and I’m taking this as a personal mission to bring the glory back to England.
“I’m looking for teams with stamina, skill and real belief that they can do this.
“I need a team who wants to win as much as I do and is willing to give 100 per cent.
“In return, I’ll train and manage them and make sure they’re well prepared for the big day.”
The amateur English five-a-side will face their German equivalent led by Horst Hrubesch in London on November 8.
Any teams wanting to take the challenge can sign up here.
