From knuckle sandwich to dinner date with Joey Barton

NEWCASTLE bad boy Joey Barton probably thinks the best way to a man’s heart is directly through his ribcage – but Blackburn wide man Morten Gamst Pederson knows it’s through his stomach.
So despite Barton accepting a three match ban for violent conduct after punching the Blackburn player in their midweek match, Pederson has offered to show there’s no hard feelings over dinner.
Pedersen said: “Joey and I have nothing unsettled. I’ll even invite him to dinner next time he is in Manchester.”
He added: “Let’s put this case to bed.”
Oo-er Pederson.
I wonder what they’ll be having – bully beef or spare ribs one would hope, washed down with lots of punch.
