THE old ones are the best when it comes to Premier League players, with a survey finding Dutch master Dennis Bergkamp the best ever to grace the division’s fields.
The research, by Nuts magazine, found only six of the top 20 currently playing in the Premier League.
A spokesman said: “Nuts asked over 30,000 British young men who they thought had made the most impact on the world’s best football competition since it kicked off way back in 1992.
“The results provide a clear indication that the stars of yesteryear provide more inspiration than the current crop.”
