BEANPOLE striker Nikola Zigic may have suffered from a stop-start season so far since arriving at Birmingham, but he’s now found a fitting role at the club.
Pretending to be Andy Carroll.
The Blues face Newcastle in the Premier League this weekend, and to help his teammates get used to the battering normally dished out by the young England international, 6ft 8in Serb Zigic has been throwing himself about in training.
Defender Roger Johnson said: “Obviously Ziggy is a big lad, which puts you in good stead to face someone like Carroll.”
Whether or not Zigic has grown Wolverine stubble and bought a pony tail wig for the job is not yet known.
