TRANSFER tittle tattle is the order of the day, and first up is a bit of gossip so unlikely you’re gonna think I’m drugged up.
Romanian forward Adrian Mutu, of Chelsea, Parma, Juventus and Fiorentina fame, is being linked this morning with Queens Park Rangers.
The Championship side could make a swoop for the controversial goalscorer – well known for his positive drugs testing and subsequent Stamford Bridge sacking – in January to press home their promotion push in the New Year as they are currently leading their league.
However manager Neil Warnock said: “‘There are always possibilities – you don’t say no to anybody.
“We have contacts in Italy and in one or two other places with good players.
“Like anybody else the owners are in conversations with many people and names are pushed forward and they put it past me.
“But at the moment we are not thinking of anything substantial like that.”
