Stirling work for budding footballers

DOING anything this weekend?
Fancy playing a little professional football?
Despite losing more than half of it’s playing staff to a virus, basement Scottish First Division side Stirling Albion have been told their match against Falkirk on Sunday must go ahead.
So the club is scouring the country for free agents, triallists and one-match loanees to play just one fixture for the club.
Albion director Paul Goodwin told BBC Scotland: “We only have six outfield players and two goalkeepers.
“We have been told to put a game on to protect the integrity of the league.”
