AN OPERATION to Ledley King’s groin has been put back to next week – because the defender lost his passport.
The 30-year-old, who has been plagued by injuries, particularly to his knees, had been due to have surgery in Germany yesterday.
Manager Harry Redknapp said: “He should have had his operation today. He couldn’t make it. Why? It’s a long story.
“He couldn’t find his passport, so he couldn’t fly out to have it done. He mislaid it.”
King, who has not played for Tottenham since limping off during his side’s 2-1 win at Fulham last October, could now be out for longer than expected as a result.
