Snoods get it in the neck from FIFA

A WAVE of foreign talent could be heading to warmer climes this Summer – after FIFA banned the wearing of snoods.
As feared, no longer will stars such as Mario Balotelli, Samir Nasri and Carlos Tevez be able to keep their necks warm on Premier League pitches, after the ruling by FIFA executives outlawing the in-vogue garment from July 1.
Many in the game have criticised the trend of wearing snoods and gloves during play – just days ago Paul Ince said: “Now you’ve got snoods, people wearing headphones when they are doing interviews, which I find disrespectful, pink boots, green boots, you name it they’ve got it, tights – they’ll be wearing skirts next.”
