A STRAW poll of Coventry City fans has seen Charlie Sheen emerge as an unlikely candidate to mould the Sky Blues into a winning team.
Coventry Telegraph editor Darren Parkin used his @CovTelEd Twitter account to ask who should replace Aidy Boothroyd after he was sacked by the Championship strugglers this morning.
And alongside a mixture of sensible and not-so-likely responses was a wave of support for the newly-crowned Vatican Assassin Warlock – in the public eye after a series of bizarre high-profile actions and interviews by the troubled actor.
Parkin posted: “Well, so far, the fans say: 1) Roberto Di Matteo, 2) Charlie Sheen, 3) Sean O’Driscoll – in that order!”
Other names put in the frame by fans include Rafa Benitez, Jose Mourinho, Martin Jol, Andy Gray and both Ed and David Milliband.
