Lehmann set for return to Arsenal squad?

HOTHEADED German stopper Jens Lehmann could be quite a catch for Arsenal – as the keeper is in line for a shock short-term comeback for his former side to help ease their goalkeeping crisis.
The 41-year-old retired in 2010, but is back in north London to work with the Gunners’ young goalkeepers, just as the Premier League title chasers have a growing problem in the Number One position due to injuries to Lukasz Fabianski and Wojciech Szczesny.
And Lehmann has refused to rule out an appearence for the Gunners on the bench, as back-up to Manuel Almunia.
He said: “I am in London and so far have heard nothing of such plans, but you never know…”
