Are Man Utd planning to go Dutch?

RUMOURS abound this evening – extremely unlikely rumours, but rumours nonetheless – that Manchester United are lining up a swoop for two experienced Dutch internationals in the form of Rafael van der Vaart and Wesley Sneijder.
The duo, at Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan respectively, are being linked with the Red Devils, who are in dire need of new blood in their midfield.
It’s believed that van der Vaart may be keen to move on after recent unrest with Wes Brown mooted as a makeweight in any deal, while it’s clear that the Red Devils could do with someone to take up Paul Scholes’s mantle in midfield and Sneijder would be an ideal candidate.
A load of hot air, or are the winds of change blowing over Old Trafford?

  1. Highly unlikely we will go for sneijder or Van Der Vaart as we didnt want either last summer when constantly linked with them. Palermo has confirmed United’s interest in Javier Pastore and he would be a good addition to the squad if we sign him. Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that superstar Tom Cleverley (long w/ Macheda, Welbeck and Diouf) will be in the first team next season which is great news.

  2. Keen for a move after recent unrest????
Are you talking rubbish?he said he would be happy to end his career at spurs and already loves the club.ridiculous article

  3. @Isaac – lets see the colour of your money, you can take van der vaart for all i care, we will make a big profit thats for sure. We might miss the champions league this year, far too many injuries, we’ll be back next year.

  4. Isaac: Can I just point out that I’m not a Man United supporter…
Well you should be. Ur an idiot just like most of them.
