Tevez and Drogba lined up for swap deal

ENGLISH clubs Manchester City and Chelsea are lining up a swap deal for the superstar hitmen Carlos Tevez and Didier Drogba.
With both strikers unsettled and being linked with moves come the summer, reports have suggested that the Ivorian Chelsea player could be sent north with a wad of cash in the area of £30m to pave the way for a Tevez transfer.
And with Champions League football now on offer at Eastlands, the experienced Drogba could well settle for a move to Man City to lead the line.
£30m and Didier Drogba for a player that wants out? Sounds like a good deal for Man City to me…

  1. Drogba is 33 now and past his best. A year or so ago this would have been a fantastic deal for both clubs. City are aparently asking for £50 million for Tevez. Drogba at his age and with only a year on his Chelsea contract is worth no where near £20 million. Chelsea need to up their offer by around £10-£15 million before it would be worth city condidering it.
