CHELSEA midfielder Micheal Essien has compared his side’s season to a rather odd snack.
He said: “It has been a sweet and sour season.
“To use a sandwich analogy – sweet bread at the top, sour filling and more sweet bread at the bottom.
“We started the season extremely well, had a sour middle part and are now ending strongly.”
Mmmmm, sweet, sweet bread – beats half time oranges I suppose.
And Essien’s season-sandwich may yet have a cherry on top should the Blues beat Manchester United this weekend.
