The goalie was nowhere to be seen

EVERTON stopper Tim Howard could have the element of surprise next season – after his club unveiled a camouflage kit.
Despite teams previously having problems picking out players with hard to see strips – anyone remember Manchester United’s infamous ‘invisible’ grey strip – Howard will be dressed camouflage colours of green for home and slate grey away.
A club spokesman said; “It is a process which has seen Everton work in tandem with retail partners Kitbag to produce a kit which combines a vintage look with modern specifications, while being easy on the eye and popular with fans.”
Despite early criticism being voiced, the camouflage choice could be a blessing in disguise – there’s no pink to be seen in goals or outfield this season!
