Tattoo ban for German club

A GERMAN football club is banning its players from getting tattoos – due to the risk of infection.
Werder Bremen players such as Marko Marin and Per Mertesacker have been ordered to think before they ink to prevent the body art hindering performances on the pitch.
As well as players begin affected whilst new tattoos are healing, the Bundesliga side are worried about the risk of infection – last season Hamburg player Eljero Elia was sidelined after one of his tattoos went septic.
