Goaltastic Fantasy Football League Gameweek One – plus unlimited transfers

WELCOME back, did you miss it?
This year a whopping 60 teams have signed up to the league, so competition is likely to be fierce – so congratulations go to fellow journalist and Lads Lounge blogger Martin Smith, whose team I Look Like Modric currently top the table.
The score of 68 points was enough to fend off joint second placers, Echo staffer Peter Warrington’s Sven-tastic! and Team Punishment, selected by Harley Zanandrea.
If you all fancy a gloat, my Ashletico side is back in 38th spot, after notching 44 points, and last year’s winner Catalogue of Errors starts in 36th, on 46 points.
I’m telling myself it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Also worth mentioning is due to technical problems with the Premier League site – I know at least one person got in contact after struggling to sign up – the game is offering a full week of free transfers, up until the start of Gameweek Two.
So if your side needs major surgery, or a slight tweek, head over there ASAP.
