THE title pretty much says it – one substitute appearence later and £34m man Cesc Fabregas has a Spanish Super Cup to his name.
Last night Cesc took to the pitch second half as Barcelona overcame rivals Real Madrid 5-4 in the second leg of a bad tempered affair – where Real’s Marcelo was sent off and former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was caught gougeing a Barcelona coach’s eye.
Fabregas said: “It’s a great moment, especially against Real Madrid.
“It’s the biggest derby in the world and I am very happy to be a part of it.”
During six years and 212 run-outs in an Arsenal shirt, Fabregas notched one FA Cup and a Community Shield win – halfway there already, then.
