Today is Non-League Day

TODAY is Non League Day, where fans are being urged to get out and show their support for grassroots football during the international break.
With Premier League and Championship matches on hold, and England on last night, supporters are asked to take in a local side’s match today instead.
Organiser James Doe said: “I urge all fans of the big clubs to get out and watch their local non-league teams on Saturday, September 3.
“Given the current financial climate, clubs outside the football league need all the support they can get, so your presence at a game will be genuinely appreciated.
“With tickets and refreshments at a fraction of the cost, what’s stopping you!”
Matches played in and around Loughborough include Loughborough University vs Yaxley or Godmanchester Rovers, Quorn vs Oadby Town or Northampton Spencer, and Shepshed Dynamo vs Thrapston Town or Irchester United, all in the FA Cup.
