ARSENAL’S stuttering stars have credited their upturn in fortune on a togetherness forged on the heat of the dancefloor.
Striker Robin van Persie – who scored a brace in a 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers – revealed the unlikely source of team bonding in an interview.
He says the sense of team spirit is due to a midweek boogie after a team meal to celebrate edging past minnows Shrewsbury in the League Cup.
He said: “That win on Tuesday was really important and helps us going into the Bolton game.
“We had a really good team dinner on Wednesday evening as well, and that’s great for the team atmosphere too.
“Most guys were dancing and everyone really enjoyed it.”
