Messi shirt swap was a stitch-up

AFTER scoring his first ever international hattrick to sweep Switzerland aside 3-1, the shirt of Lionel Messi was going to be in demand at the end of the match.
But against the spirit of fair play, big defender Phillipe Senderos had pre-arranged to swap shirts with the Argentinean maestro – by tapping up his former Arseanl teammate Cesc Fabregas, who now plays for Messi’s club Barcelona.
At the final whistle, Messi even refused to hand over his top to both Gokhan Inhler and Ricardo Rodriguez to keep his deal with Fulham player Senderos.
Senderos said: “This is for my private collection.”
