FOOTBALL legends Brian Clough and Peter Taylor will be honoured with a charity run in their name.
The Clough Taylor People’s Run will take place for the first time in Castle Donington in March and will offer 10k and 1k runs around Donington Park.
Charity cash will be raised for Cerebral Palsy Sport, Hope Against Cancer and Muscular Dystrophy Campaign in the name of the duo which brought the European Cup, European Super Cup and league title to Nottingham Forest and the league title to Derby County.
A spokesman said: “Brian Clough and Peter Taylor brought so much to the cities of Nottingham and Derby; success, pride, profile, glory…
“Now it is possible to say thank you and to mark their incredible contribution to the region and its people by giving up a morning to run (or jog or walk) 10km (6.2 miles) for charity.”
