Goaltastic Fantasy Football League – The Results 2011/2012

IT WAS breathless, edge of the seat stuff.
At the last possible minute, the pressure was too great and the then-league leader crumbled beneath the irresistable momentum of the challengers.
Can’t Touch This!, managed by Mike Szumski, has overthrown Ruff Tuff Bluff Stuf to be crowned Goaltastic Fantasy Football League champions 2011/2012.
Oh, and if nobody noticed, Manchester City also won the Premiership with a brace of injury-time goals, in a humdinger of a match with QPR.
The last day of the season saw FC Barsenalona (30) as the league’s top scorer, with 74 points.
And for the record, my own team Ashletico slumped to a lowly 11th overall.
There’s always next season…

Goaltastic Fantasy Football League – Gameweek 33

BIT of a strange update this week – there’s a new league leader in the Goaltastic league this week, but I can’t tell you who they are.
They’re a new entry to the league, in at the top spot, but they have a name I can’t print here without being slapped on the wrist by my boss.
This is a family website you know, hurrumph.
Nevertheless, last week’s leader, my team Ashletico, is now in fourth slot – as both Ruff Tuff Bluff Stuf (2) and Ninja Avengers (3) leapfrog them.
Lots drop as a result of the new entry at the top – with climbers CescforBarca (15), Taurages Tauras (17), Gothicfox Vampires (24) and FC Barsenalona (25) among those beating the trend.
The afroementioned Taurages Tauras top scored this week, with an impressive 90 points.

TAKE a bow, Herman Athletic.
Despite sitting in a lowly 74th place, the squad scored a whopping 111 points, the only three figure total posted this Gameweek.
Plenty of other teams posted high totals in a round of matches, effectively cancelling each other out – with no movement inside the top nine.
Team Punishment are the first team on the up, shifting up into 10th. Others climbing include Dobie Wanderers (13), Wolfmans Brother (14), Unreal Madrid (15), Hersham Boys (16), 2uibestow (17), FC Barsenalona (22), New Wortley Warriors (24) and Shipthecheese (25).
